Kambo
Kambo is a Sacred Medicine traditionally used by the indigenous populations of the Amazonian Rainforests, who have been using its properties for millenniums.
This treatment involves the application of the secretion of the frog Maki (lat. Phyllomedusa bicolor), which has incredible effects on the human organism.
The legend tells that the tribe of the Matses, who lives in the jungle between Peru and Brazil, was perishing due to a pandemic. The Shaman of the Tribe sat with Mother Ayahuaska to ask counseling and the Plant showed him this specific frog, teaching him how to extract the secretion and how to apply it on the human body.
Kambo saved the Tribe.
